Jayesh Mehta Entertainment and Vibrnz are proud to present CLASH OF TONES ( COT ), a competitive event designed to discover and inspire outstanding presenters in music and art. Our mission is to bring together diverse creative talent and encourage them to collaborate and create unique experiences for their audience. We believe collaboration inspires innovation and we want to inspire aspiring artists from across different cultures to present their artforms with an element of uniqueness.
Clash of Tones is not merely a competition. It is a forum where artists can enrich their experience by networking with peers, teachers, experts and above all have fun presenting their art to a supportive audience.

HOW IT WORKS?
Participants need to register for live auditions. Those shortlisted will be invited to perform at the final event. Deadlines and fees are given below:
ROUND #1: COT LIVE AUDITIONS: SEPTEMBER 15, 2019
Venue: The Saffron, 729 S Main St., Manville, New Jersey
Application deadline #1: August 15, 2019
SOLO Registration fees: $20 per participant per category
GROUP Registration fees: $15 per group member

Application deadline #2: August 31, 2019
SOLO Registration fees: $30 per participant per category
GROUP Registration fees: $20 per group member

Any entries after August 31, 2019
No guaranteed participation. (Depends on the number of entries)
SOLO Registration fees: $40 per participant per category
GROUP Registration fees: $30 per group member

Shortlisted participants will be contacted individually with further details regarding the finals.
ROUND #2: COT FINALS: DECEMBER 15, 2019
Venue: Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, 200 Rues Lane, East Brunswick, New Jersey
SOLO Fees: $25 per participant per category
GROUP Fees: $20 per group member
Awards and Certificates
All Participants in the Final round will be given certificates
Winners and runners up will win trophies in each category
COT finals will be held at the state-of-the-art performance venue and will have special awards, media coverage and loads of fun!

REQUIREMENTS FOR LIVE AUDITIONS
VOICE AND INSTRUMENTAL
Complete Registration and pay the registration fees.
Before presenting, provide the name of the song or composition with the name of the original artist (if applicable)
Voice to be accompanied with live music or sound track (Any issues, please contact us. We will try our best to accommodate any requests)
Instrumental (solo) to be accompanied with live music or sound track (Any issues, please contact us. We will try our best to accommodate any requests)
Duration of the song/composition cannot exceed 5 minutes.
Appropriately dressed. (No flip flops etc.)
    Food for thought!
    Focus on your tones and quality. You cannot go wrong there!
    Engage and entertain your audience.
    Stage presence makes a huge impact!
    Finally, enjoy doing what you do, and you will be the best!

HOW IT WORKS?
ROUND #1: ONLINE REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSIONS

Register for the competition and submit your artwork online. Our judges will evaluate the online submissions and those who are selected will be invited to the next round.
ROUND #2: (FINAL ROUND): SEPTEMBER 15, 2019

Selected participants will be invited to round 2 to display their artwork (that was submitted online) at the venue. Here the judges will pick the finalists.
FINAL EVENT: DECEMBER 15, 2019

The final round winners will be invited to the final event day to display their artwork and receive prizes. They will get an opportunity to come to the stage and get recognized. There will be media coverage throughout the event.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSIONS
Complete Registration and pay the registration fees of $10.
Images of One (min) to Three (max) original pieces of artwork
Ensure the images are clear. Judges will evaluate you for the next round based on the images
    REQUIREMENTS FOR (FINAL) ROUND #2
    Selected participants will be invited to display the same artwork (that was submitted in Round 1)
    Ensure that your name is signed on the artwork
    Be ready to share the title and description as judges evaluate your work.
    You need to be personally present with your artwork. Minors should be accompanied by parents or legal guardians.
    You can bring your own easel to display your work. It is optional. (We have tables where your work will be displayed)
We will reach out to the finalists at a later date regarding the logistics of the final day event on December 15, 2019.


ON THE SPOT “PAINTING” EVENT
Date: September 15, 2019
Price: 10$
This is NOT part of the Art Competition
We are trying something different! We have organized a painting event for enthusiasts and students who do not want to compete but want to try out their creative skills on the spot! An art teacher will conduct an hour-long free lesson and help you create an artwork based on a theme. The teacher will then select the three best creations that will be displayed at the final event on December 15. We will provide you all the material needed!
How it works?

Pay fees on the spot. We will confirm the time once we receive all the registrations.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Participant can only have one entry per category.
Participants can participate in more than one category within the same age group
Registration fee is per participant per category
Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Organizers have the right to refuse participation to any participant for not following the rules of the competition.
Judges decision will be FINAL at any level of the competition
All decisions relating to the event are final.
In the event of any question or matter that arises at any point which is not expressly provided for in the rules, the organizers shall exercise their authority at their own discretion.
No inappropriate content at any stage of the event. Strict action will be taken for any misconduct or mis representation of work that you submit online or present live.
Indemnification by Applicant/participant: By entering the event, the applicant releases and holds the event organizers harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any award, participation in the event, any breach of any event rules or in any award-related activity. The participant agrees to fully indemnify, without limitation, the event organizers from any and all claims by third parties relating to the event.
Privacy/Use of Personal Information : As a condition of entry, all applicants grant the event organizers the right to: a) Use his or her personal information for the purpose of administering the event; b) Use his or her name, photograph, video and audio recordings, voice, prize information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation.
Updates and Promotional material: By registering for the event, you agree to receive event updates, promotional material or any other information related to the organizer or any future events.
Limitation of Liability: The event organizers assume no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies, release, any defective application form or any computer, online, telephone, hardware, software or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an audition materials and application form. The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to its website, rules, policies, and regulations at any time without notice.
