How we connected with Aderemi? It was through his photograph titled "Against All Odds" at the UN Headquarters in New York. I happened to be there for a women's Science and Technology summit. As I was browsing through the Art Gallery there, I came across this portrait of Adenike Adebayo, a young Nigerian girl who suffered amputation of both limbs at age 5 but yet exhibits high resilience and optimism at life.
I emailed Aderemi as I was so impressed with the picture, and to my surprize he responded back! Hope you enjoy my conversation with Aderemi!
