About Ms. Eileen She is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).

ABOUT THE CLASSES
Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays starting on June 2nd and ending on June 23rd.
Week 1: Amazing Cuts I will show you a unique way to cut paper similar to a cut snow flake. Create space for shapes like animal heads, and other shapes familiar to you. Then by coloring a certain way, you put pictures in those spaces and abstract designs. Once you learn these techniques. You can imagine many other cuts which produce more fun. Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scissors, scotch tape, 12” ruler, color pencils, crayons, markers.
Week 2: Light the Day, It’s Father’s Day A calming and surreal feeling comes your way, when you light the day to celebrate with dad. Learn to draw a scene on a pleasant day. On a walk with dad, you see a lighthouse on the coast, enjoying nature’s beauty. Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scrap paper, scissors, 12” ruler, color pencils, crayons, markers
Week 3: Super Emblems You Know Let me show you how to draw your favorite and most memorable superhero emblems. It’s so much fun to learn how. Using my methods to achieve this for yourself. Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scissors, 12” ruler, color pencils.
Week 4: Walk Thru Perspective How to create perspective using a landscape. This portrays various common items in the desert or the outdoors. You will see items up close shrink as they get further away. This lesson will give you a better understanding of objects seen in the distance and objects seen up close. Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scissors, 12” ruler, color pencils.
