About Ms. EileenShe is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).
About the classesClasses will be held weekly on Wednesdays starting on Feb 3rd and ending on Feb 24th.
Week 1: Creative greeting card
In this class learn to create a lovely greeting card for all occasions. The tips and techniques will inspire you. You can personalize and tailor each one to extend into the future.
Supplies: Paper/pencil, markers permanent or regular, scissors, ruler, glue stick
Week 2: Panda Bear
The contrast of white and black makes the panda bear drawing perfect for the use of the (medium) CHARCOAL. This unique tool is used for deep black color and some shading, bamboo too!
Supplies: paper/ pencils, charcoal sticks, Q-tips, paper towels
Week 3: Stain glass
Create a beautiful collection of faux stain-glass pictures. Use a heavy black outline and bright colors to show how intense and lovely it looks.
Supplies: Paper/pencils black marker or black crayon colorful Twistable crayons
Week 4: Peacock:
The beautiful colorful bird the peacock is introduced with exciting new colors. The head and body are realistically portrayed. Using oil pastels to enhance the textures in this depiction will be fun to do.
Supplies: Paper/pencil, oil pastels, Q-tips, toothpicks and/or craft sticks
