About Ms. EileenShe is an art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Pre- COVID she taught in small groups to a total of 25 to 35 students per week . The average age group of her students has been 6-12 yr olds. Her style is very freeform and she doesn't limit herself to standard conventional art. One of her core strengths is that she is able to easily relay her artistic thoughts and ideas directly to the children. Her passion and creativity flows from her experience and the artist in her is constantly inspired by various themes that surround her (Nature , Seasons, Holidays etc.).

Week 1: Kanga and Roo
From the animal kingdom comes Kanga and Roo. Mama and child, what a great way to celebrate her special day. Using a familiar cartoon character, draw an adorable picture to show how much your mom means to you.
Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scissors, 12” ruler, color pencils.
Week 2: Splash surprise
Spray your way to the fun lesson. Using coffee filters, water colors and ink. Discover the transformation from colorful splashes to a detailed scene. I hope will amaze and inspire you.
Supplies: black ink pens (Roller Ball), scissors, water color paint, markers, water in spray bottle, coffee filters, Spray bottle, roller pens and paper towel, permanent markers, regular markers, white paper plates, stapler.
Week 3: Liberty Stands To Light Freedom’s Way
She is so majestic standing in the New York harbor. I will show you how to capture her famous details. She holds the torch of liberty and freedom. You will draw her hand as well as other important features up close.
Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, 12” ruler and color pencils.
Week 4: Stacks of Beauty
Using geometric shapes lined up top to bottom. Beautiful colors and different combinations, will create three lovely and unique vases. This is not just colorful, but very creative.
Supplies: #2 pencils with eraser caps, drawing paper, scissors, 12” ruler, color pencils, crayons, markers, oil pastels and paper towel.
